Well the original p/u (which I still have) is also 14k.  I think it was a HOTCH???  Anyway, they matched up nicely for volume output.  It's just that the bridge sounded so lifeless... 

And yeah, I do like all pickup positions, so I'm always moving them around.  I'll find a happy medium somehow.
