My pedal board is covered in Velcro (The fuzzy side) and I attach strips of the loop side to the bottom of my pedals to secure them to the board.

My problem is that when I want to move a pedal, the velcro on the bottom of the pedal comes off. The velcro is basically "stickier" than the adhesive holding it to the pedal.

Anyone else run into this, and if so, have any suggestions? Is there a better adhesive I should use? Maybe superglue?

Man I battled this for a long time.   Now I just use Krazy Glue and apply it to the rubber on the pedal and let the pedal sit there on the board for a few hours undisturbed.  I've found that the typical velcro adhesive just ain't what it used to be.  It's balls up, loses tackiness... more like rubber cement.  A real joke nowadays.

I peel the rubber off and and turn the plate inside out then attach the velcro

I don't use velcro at all, I don't like using it with pedals. I just have different thicknesses of foam in the top half of my DIY pedal board that keeps everything in place when it's shut. It works great.  Wink
