I know this is probably a stupid question to ask, but I have to ask it anyway. What is the deal with a 1mF/50V capacitance value? I can't seem to find them anywhere, yet they are on a few of my pedal boards, namely my df-2, tr-2, and various other pedals.
Like on this schem for c21 and c20.

Basically, I'm trying to clean up the tone of my pedals by making it a tighter tolerance with metal film caps instead of electrolytic caps.

Does anybody know what the same value would be in a film capacitor?

I've seem mf used in place of uf...... the "u" is actually the Greek letter mu which in this case stands for micro farad. So a 1mf is the same as a 1uf.

I use 1uF 50V Panasonic film caps in place of 1uF electrolytics. They do seem to give the sound a bit more clarity.

Thanks, I just want to make sure that wasn't the problem, because I'm replacing the 1/50s electrolytic with 1uf 50v film.
