The way he constructs a chops is brilliant, his execution is flawless, and his tone is from God. He plays and feels multiple styles at an unbelievable level. He is a fine singer, and writer. And...he is a very nice man. There are lots of players that might have one of those qualities, possibly a few will have two of them. I doubt if any sideman....studio or live will ever approach the scale of the contribution that he has made to music. AND...Brent is always about the right tone at the right time on the right song.
